Doctorate Programs

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

Leveraging innovative and unique learning strategies, the West Coast University offers top-quality DPT programs that place collaboration and experience at the foundation of student achievement. Every class provides professional education with a progression of dynamic clinical experience, hence training individuals to perform real-life work on real patients at approved clinical sites and under the supervision of experienced clinicians.


Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

WCU also offers PharmD programs that prepare students to serve patients as a member of an interprofessional team. The university aims to deliver a dynamic curriculum, enabling students to serve the community through outreach. Graduate Degrees


WCU offers numerous master programs with classes designed to complement almost any schedule. Subsequently, if you are looking to gain fieldwork experience and provide integrated patient care, choosing any of the degrees below may prove a good option.


MS in Occupational Therapy

MS or Master of Science in Occupational Therapy is a two-year program offered to students with the intention of grooming entry-level occupational therapy generalists and providing a dynamic learning environment with hours of in-depth, hand-on fieldwork training to maximize student’s opportunity for success. The program is covered via six trimesters over a period of two academic years.


Master of Health Administration

WCU also offers a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree that has been carefully designed to match the core mission of the Healthcare Leadership Alliance (HLA). The degree offers students a variety of career opportunities, including Health Insurance Organizations, Physician Practices, Public Health Departments, Hospitals, and Clinics, with classes’ on-campus every 10 weeks and the balance of the coursework completed online.


MSN (Family Nurse Practitioner)

The MSN or Master of Science in Nursing Degree is also offered by the West Coast University which enables students to take their education to the next level and work on becoming professional Family Nurse Practitioners. The program can be completed in as little as 36 months, hence opening doors to careers in Project Management, Nursing Quality Improvement, Academic Faculties, Nursing Leadership, and Staff Development.


MSN Advanced Generalist (Online)

If you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and want to advance your career, WCU offers MSN Advanced Generalist Programs that can be completed online in as few as 24 months. Subsequently, you can earn your Advanced Generalist Degree with specialization in Health Policy Formulation, Research, Clinical Practice, Education, Program Management, Nursing Leadership, and Staff Development.


RN to MSN (Online)

Also offered online, the RN to MSN programs enables registered nurses to earn a Master’s of Science in Nursing Degree. Classes are held in 8-week sessions and are designed to be completed within 24 months only. Students are also given access to WCU’s student services, including Advanced Simulation Centers. Discounts are also offered through Contemporary Forums.


Undergraduate Degrees


Are you planning to advance your studies and gain a bachelor’s degree with regards to nursing? If so, enroll yourself in any one of the undergraduate degrees below. Most of these programs are offered every 10 weeks and can even be structured around a specific graduation date.


BS in Dental Hygiene

WCU is one of the only four universities that offer Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene programs in California, granting students career opportunities on becoming managers, administrators, researchers, and educators. The University has a 100% passing rate in clinical examination and the NBDHE examination. The program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and can be completed within 36 months.


LVN to BSN

If you are a Licensed Vocational Nurse looking to advance your studies and becoming a professional nurse, you can consider joining the BSN program that is designed to be completed in 36 months, granting students career opportunities in Home Care Nursing, Community Health, Mental Health, Gerontology, Medical-Surgical Nursing, and Pediatrics.


BS in Nursing (Florida)

Held in the WCU Miami branch campus, this program enables undergraduates to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree within 39 months. Students practice in both long-term and acute care facilities and also gain vital skills with regards to management, leadership, decision-making, and critical thinking combined with ethical, legal, and moral principles.


RN to BSN (Online)

Offered online, the RN to BSN program enables registered nurses to earn a Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree. Classes are held in 8-week sessions and are designed to be completed within 12 months only with discounts offered through Contemporary Forums. Students are also provided access to WCU’s student services including advanced Simulation Centers.


Bachelor Science in Nursing

Providing knowledge and professional nursing skills to students for them to lead and assist patients towards optimal health, the BSN Degree offered by WCU can be completed within 39 months, hence enabling students to become nursing professionals.
