Automotive Technician Diploma Program
In the Automotive Technician Program, students will learn the ins and outs of fixing cars. The training that they receive will help them get an entry-level job in the auto industry. They will get instruction on repair of electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, brakes, steering and suspension, engines, transmissions, automatic and manual, and do vehicle inspections. And this can all be completed in as little as 45 weeks.
Building Maintenance and Repair Diploma Program
The Building Maintenance and Repair Program is a great program that will get you into jobs for hotel, residential, and apartment industries. You will learn all of the skills you need like, applications for structural, electrical, and mechanical. You will also learn about air conditioning, electrical theory, and heating systems and plumbing, building codes, general repairs, and flooring. And you can also get your Environmental Protection Agency refrigerant transition certification. And all of these great skills can be learned in just 30 weeks.
Combination Welding Diploma Program
The Combination Welding Program is the perfect program for someone that likes to work with his or her hands. The welding industry is in need of welders to make cars, appliances, bridges, ships, and other structures that require welds. And you will be learning all of the great methods to get ahead in the industry, including, ultrasonic wave applications, lasers, and electron beams. And you will then go on to get your certifications in Flux Core Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, and Shielded Metal Arc Welding. And it only takes 30 weeks to complete the program.
Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Diploma Program
The Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning Program will prepare you for any entry-level job in the HVAC industry. You will learn electrical and mechanical applications for the light commercial and residential, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industry. You will learn how to repair heating systems, air conditioning systems, commercial and residential refrigeration units, hydronics, and heating pumps. And you will have the opportunity to get your certification for Environmental Protection Agency and the Industry Competency Examination. And you can complete this program in just 45 weeks.

Student Services Advisors and Career Services Advisors
At no extra charge to the students of Tidewater Tech, students will have access to student service advisors and career services advisors that will help the from the time they apply to the school till they graduate and beyond, helping them find careers in their field.
If a student is having problems with their classes, Tidewater Tech will give the students free personal tutoring sessions that will help them do their best. And the school also has many resources like books, reference material, and periodicals that will help them learn all they need to succeed.
Career Services is there to assist students and even graduates to help them find their career path. While job placement is not a guarantee, they do offer students support through teaching them how to write a good resume, what to wear to an interview, setting up mock interviews, and showing them the best way to search for a job. They also arrange for employers to come to the school for open interviews and can even arrange interviews for students and graduates.

International Students Welcome
If an international student wants to attend Tidewater Tech, they have to complete English Language Tests, TOEFL iBT-73, TOEFL paper 530, IELTS with a score of 6.0. If students score a 450-529 on TOEFL paper, a 45-73 on iBT and 5.5-6.0 on IELTS, they can attend school there, and they have to enroll in English as a second language course. Before they can attend, they have to show proof that they completed the ESL program and took all of the test required for admission.
