Accreditation
Seacoast Career Schools is credited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET), which is approved by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a national accrediting organization. The Professional Medical Assistant course, offered at its Manchester campus, is certified by the Accrediting Bureau for Health Education Schools (ABHES). Furthermore, both the campuses of Seacoast Career Schools are licensed. The Sanford, Maine campus is recognized by the State of Maine Department of Education and the Manchester, New Hampshire campus is acknowledged by the NH Department of Education, the Division of Higher Education-Higher Education Commission.
Application Process
Enrolling into Seacoast Career Schools is simple and quick. The whole admission procedure just takes only the following four steps:

• Reach out: Their Admissions Representative will fix the appointment and guide the applicant through every step of the admission process. He or she will explain the admission procedure and solve all the admission-related queries.
• Visit the campus: The next step in the admission process is to visit any one of their campuses, in which the applicant wishes to apply. Take a campus tour and meet their current students and faculty members. Observe how they teach. Get to know more about the programs, offered at the academy. After this, a small personal admission interview is conducted.

Students can apply for financial aid by filling up the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Financial aid is offered at Seacoast Career Schools in the form of state programs, tax- payer credits, grants and loans, in-house financing plans, private loans, etc. There are a lot of Federal Student Aid (FSA) programs available for students, including federal Pell grants, PLUS loans (William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan program), federal Stafford Loans (FSL), and Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG). Students can also benefit from their monthly installment payment plans, in order to fund their education. The Professional Medical Assistant course teaches students how to prepare patients for medical tests, perform blood draws, take vital signs of patients, and handle other medical duties in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities. The curriculum includes office skills, MA clinical procedures, medical terminology, medical billing, MA clinical fundamentals, fundamentals of anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, and electronic health records. Apart from this, students also learn the essential medical knowledge, marketable skills, and gain confidence to find a job, along with several clerical, clinical, and human relation functions. Additionally, students are prepared for the national certification examination.
Health Claims Specialists are also known as medical coders and billers. They are essential components of the medical and healthcare industry. In this program, students learn how to develop insurance claims, so that medical providers can get payment for their services. Students get to know about professional insurance forms, diagnostic codes, electronic processing software, medical terminology, medical computer skills, fundamentals of medical coding, and electronic health records. Upon successful completion of this course, students can become Certified Professional Coders.
The Massage Therapist course is for those people who want to help others by reducing their pain, stress, and improve their whole health. In this program, students learn various massage techniques, such as classical massage techniques, soft tissue manipulation, advanced therapeutic techniques, and special populations massage techniques for pregnant women, professional athletes, seniors, etc. Applicants also learn about myology, kinesiology, complementary bodyworks, the touch science, massage therapy hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, reflexology, and so much more. In addition to the massage art, students also learn several marketable and business skills, so that they can easily develop their clientele. Furthermore, this program enables students to sit for the national certification examination.
The Dental Assistant course helps students to become successful dental assistants in hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities. The program teaches students how to work with hygienists, dentists, and other dental assistants, and help them with instrument preparations, dental examinations, office management, and lab work. The Dental Assistant curriculum includes dental anatomy, laboratory procedures, dental terminology, chair side dental assisting techniques (I, II and III), pharmacology, dental office procedures, dental emergencies, and dental reimbursement.
