Career Services
All five Platt College campuses are proud to assist their graduates with job placement. The website states that their team will help Platt alumni for a lifetime with the following skills and needs:
- Searching and locating employment opportunities
- Creating a professional resume and polished cover letter
- Making contacts and networking in your career field of choice
- Researching potential employers
- Job interviewing coaching and interviewing practice
- Soft skills enhancement and communication development
- Post-interview follow-ups
The school has a very strong alumni program. The connection between Platt and the alumni is outlined at the website and the goals stated are for alumni to mentor through guest lectures and hands-on classroom activities, professional networking, to act as a member of Platt College’s Program Advisory committee, to participate in Platt Marketing ventures, and identify upcoming graduates for placement at their workplace.
Admission Processes and Financial Aid
The website is easy to use and offers an interactive contact form. Completion of this form is the first step in the process. You will need to know which campus you want to attend. The school will then contact you and assist you through the process of admissions.
The school recommends that you then visit the campus. After your scheduled visit you will meet with the admissions team. At that time the requirements will be given and a question and answer session will take place. You can then meet with the financial aid officers to see what money assistance you may be eligible for at Platt College.
The financial aid officer will help guide you through the school, state, and federal options for assistance. The website doesn't indicate whether military veterans, active military members, their family, or dependents can receive aid from Platt. You would want to ask the financial aid officer about what military benefits, if any, they offer.
