Precision Machining & Manufacturing: Perry Tech’s one year training program equips students with the tools necessary to enter the machining trade from a variety of different angles. Students will gain understanding of the principles necessary to apply when working with metals or other materials as they gain skills in manual operation and computerized machinery. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to apply curriculum to the hands-on transformation of computerized engineering technology to working parts.
Program objectives include training in: Machining theory, Mathematics Blueprint reading, Drawing Manual machining, Computerized numerical control, 3-D modeling and prototyping and Customer jobs.
Welding Technology:
Perry Tech’s one-year training program will prepare students for entry-level jobs as skilled welders. This trade is highly needed the world over. Graduates will be able to apply their skills in a variety of industry niches ranging from custom airplane and automobile manufacturing and commercial construction to ship building and more.
Program topics include: Blueprint reading, CAD drawing, Oxyfuel cutting and welding, Carbon arc cutting and gouging, Shielded metal arc welding, Gas metal arc welding, Flux core arc welding, Gas tungsten arc welding, Pipe welding Fabrication.
Perry Tech’s welding technology training program will award graduates certification through: American Welding Society (AWS) and the Washington Association of Building Officials (WABO).
