This means that a great career opportunity exists for you out there, but for that you need the right set of skills and a certification from a postsecondary institution. The good news is that NYADI will not only train you in the technical skills and provide you a certification at the end of the program, but will also help you in landing a job.
The institute works with employers in the industry and knows exactly what those employers need. As a full time students, NYADI would train you to a level where you can easily secure an entry-level position in the automotive industry. The NYADI Placement Department will start to help you find a job when you are in your last course. You can even attend the NYADI seminars of automotive sector career development. From writing your cover letter and resume to landing a job and growing in your profession, NYADI would be there to assist you.
Enrollment Process and Financial Aid
The enrollment process at NYADI is pretty straightforward; however, you must be aged at least 17 to enroll in one of the programs. For candidates aged below 18, a parental consent would be required. The career counselors at NYADI would discuss your interests with you, so you can enroll in the program that best fits you. Financial aid options are available for students who can’t afford the program. To be entitled for financial aid, you must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Applying for financial aid is also easy. The staff at NYADI would assist you in filling a Free Application for Federal Student Aid form, which will then be used to determine your eligibility for funding. If you qualify, the institute will help come up with a payment plan for you.
There are two types of financial aids available at NYADI: Grant, which is not required to be repaid, and loan, which must be repaid with interest. The institute participates in the Direct Loan Program, so chances are you may qualify for a subsidized loan.
The Certified Automotive Technician program will make you a master of diagnosing and curing car bugs. The highly qualified instructors at NYADI would train students on state-of-the-art technologies and equipment. The program also covers all 8 fields of ASE Automotive Certification plus high-performance engines. Moreover, you will cover the 4 areas of ASE certification plus and receive a free tool kit.

The Master Certified Collision Repair Technician program will prepare you to kick off a career in auto body repair. Under the program, you’ll be trained in using modern tools and techniques to work on complex and challenging projects. Not only will you master the concepts of automotive collision repair, but will also get the chance to participate in hands-on practices.
This program is for people who aim to develop their skills in the 4 areas of ASE certification and then start an entry-level position as a collision repair technician. The course content has been developed to the highest standard, so you can get both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
By the end of the program, you will be well knowledgeable and highly skilled in engine operations, diesel engine repair and maintenance, diesel fuel systems, engine accessories, heavy duty steering and suspension, electrical and electronic fundamentals and advances, and advance heavy-duty undercarriage.
The Certified Truck and Diesel Technician program is for you if you are planning to start a career in repair and maintenance of tractors, trailers and heavy-duty trucks. Under the program, you will be extensively educated about the concepts and mechanisms that heavy-duty vehicles follow in addition to developing your technical skills by hands-on practice on heavy vehicles from Mack, Caterpillar and Cummins.
You will master all 8 areas of Heavy Truck ASE Certification. The course will prepare you to a level where you can kick of an entry-level career in the automotive industry. You will also take home an exclusive Snap-On tool kit from NYADI upon graduation.
By the time of completion of the program, you will be knowledgeable and skilled in the fundamentals of engine performance, engine electrics and electronics, steering and suspension, braking systems, advanced undercarriage, climate control, welding and cutting, advanced electronics and electrical systems, analysis and repair of automotive structures, unibody analysis and repair, non-structural preparations and plastics, panel analysis and repair in addition to a wide array of other areas.
