When you are admitted to NAU, you get access to the career services through a tab on your student portal on the NAU website. You can post your resume, search for jobs, manage several resumes at the same time, receive help in preparing your documents for employments and see job updates through the online portal.
Enrollment Process and Financial Aid
NAU extends its support to you from the moment you take a first step towards admission in the university. You can easily request information about the admission process and available financial aid. After you make a query, a personal adviser will reach out to you to answer your questions. The personal adviser would understand your career goals and then help you select a program to achieve those goals. The good news is that your adviser will guide you throughout the enrollment process.
The admission process is quite easy for both graduate and undergraduate programs. For enrollment, you would be required to fill in and submit an application form along with your previous educational records. Make sure to check the prerequisites for the degree you intend to get enrolled in. After you enroll in a program, your adviser will even take you through the orientation session and assist you in starting your classes.
NAU has a number of financial assistance available for you. You can apply for grants and scholarships, which you would not be required to repay. Student loans are also available, but must repay them after your graduation. The Federal Financial Aid, such as grants, loans and work-study, are also available at NAU. When it comes to scholarships, you get the option of Organization Scholarships and NAU Scholarships. For tuition assistance, you get the option of Company Tuition Assistance, and if you are coming from the US military or are a veteran, you can get benefit from the Military Education Benefits.
Military Tuition Assistance
Qualified members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard can avail the Armed Forces TA funds that can cater to 75 percent or 100 percent of the tuition costs. The percentage of assistance you’d get depends on the branch of military service you come from. After you receive a passing grade, you’d get assistance from DANTES; however, you’d be required to submit the original DANTES 1562/31 form.
