Missouri College is certified to operate by the Missouri Department of Higher Education. In addition, Missouri College is accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). ACICS is an independent agency recognized by the United States Department of Education (DOE) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). This designation means Missouri College meets or goes beyond the criteria of quality established and noted by ACICS, and then subsequently approved by the DOE.
Admissions Process and Financial Aid
If you are 18 years old when the clinical part of your program begins, then you are eligible for admission. You will have to participate in an interview with a Missouri College admissions officer either by email or in person. The school website has an informative page which gives information on Undergraduate admissions, international student admission, and information for high school students. There is a request information feature and a document and resources section, as well.
The school does offer aid to qualified students. It is recommended that you contact a financial aid officer to find out more about what you would qualify for. The site does not mention any military aid opportunities. You would want to call the school to see if such things as the GI Bill are offered to military members, veterans, dependents, and/or spouses.
Allied Health Program
In this field, you can study at any Missouri College campus. After completion of your diploma or degree, you would be able to work in an office or managerial position at such places as a nursing home, retirement center, doctor’s office, hospital, or any other health related facility. The Associate of Applied Science in Allied Health is also offered. The curriculum is a combination of core allied health classes and also general education classes.
Business Administration Program
In this field, the goal would be to obtain an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration. You could be employed as a clerk, personal assistant, receptionists or similar position. The study is a combination of hands-on skills and application, didactic theory, and general education classes. All instructors are experienced in the field and have years of applied skills.
Dental Assistant Program
The program in dental assisting at Missouri College, St. Louis is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. This is strictly a diploma program where students could be awarded the Diploma in Dental Assistant. Graduates are eligible to sit for the certification exam offered by the Dental Assisting National Board, a nationally recognized certification. This certification will allow more options in career choices.
Dental Hygiene Program
The program in dental hygiene at Missouri College, St. Louis is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. Completion of this program will result in an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene degree. The state license is also required for employment in this field. You can work at a number of desirable locations and will find the job market to be plentiful when you graduate from the Dental Hygiene program.
Fitness Trainer Program
A fitness trainer teaches, leads, and motivates people to participate in various cardiovascular, strength, and stretching exercise programs in order to lead a healthy life. Once you complete the Missouri College program, you are encouraged to take the NASM, National Academy of Sports Medicine exam and certification. This credential will allow for more job opportunities.

In the Healthcare Management Program, a Missouri College student will learn the knowledge and skills necessary to work at, operate, and manage different healthcare organizations and services. Missouri College Healthcare Management Program will range from the operations in healthcare jobs, the health care finance and law, as well as human resource management.
Human Resource Management Program
In this program students will study and learn the talents needed to improve production of business organizations. The workplace runs better because of the Human Resource. Missouri College provides a curriculum that stresses staff knowledge, staff wellbeing and ongoing development by looking at best practices, hiring and resolution techniques, and benchmarking trends, with an emphasis placed on management and leadership, ethics, methodology and employee profiling skills.
Massage Therapy Program
If you enjoy healing and working with people, this may be the program for you. In this curriculum the students will learn to massage and manipulate soft-tissue muscles of the body. This method of healing will help cure painful ailments, aid with injury healing, decompress sore, tired, and overused muscles, reduce stress, rehabilitate sports injuries, and promote all around good general health. Missouri College graduates in this field are strongly encouraged to take the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) certification exam
Medical Assistant Program
If you enjoy multitasking, the office setting, and dealing with people, this may be the program for you. Medical Assistants help all kinds of medical providers by performing administrative duties and basic clinical duties in offices of physicians, podiatrists, chiropractors, hospitals, nursing homes, and other health practitioners.
Medical Administrative Specialist Program
In this program, students will learn to help physicians by performing a variety of administrative and billing procedures within an office or clinic setting. Missouri College’s program gives graduates industry-current knowledge and skills to qualify for desirable entry-level positions in a nursing home, medical office, clinic, hospital, pharmaceutical company, medical lab, or insurance company.
Occupational Therapy Program
The Occupational Therapy Assistant Associate Degree program has applied for accreditation and has been granted Candidacy Status by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
