Mayfield College additionally offers career services, career placement, academic guidance, and tutoring. Plus, the college offers flexible scheduling for working adults and education benefits for Military personnel and their families.Programs offered include Computer Technician, General Office Management, HVAC/R, Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding (Front Office), and Massage Therapy.
Mayfield College also offers free GED Preparation
Mayfield College helps graduates find interesting careers. The Career Services Office works directly with various companies and professionals in order to boost student career opportunities. Such also helps employers hire valuable staff. The college has maintained successful working relationships in the marketplace by continually providing the most prepared and skilled graduates. Placement Services also helps graduates find rewarding career opportunities by assisting with the following:

The Career Services Office strives to help each student reach the highest level of personal development so that they can, in turn, achieve successful employment.
Tutoring is an easy and useful way to get help when having difficulty in schoolwork. Mayfield College offers assistance with homework, coursework, assignments, projects, test prep, etc. There is no charge for this service.
Mayfield College cares about each student’s progress and is completely devoted to helping each one realize their potential, complete their programs, and succeed in their careers. The Student Affairs Staff helps students get through their programs and reach graduation. Program Directors and Deans support students with finding resources, such as childcare, transportation, and family issues. And, if neither the Student Affair Staff, Program Directors, nor Deans can help, the School President will offer assistance.
Mayfield College wants every willing student to enroll no matter their financial position. The Admissions Department is ready to assist students with financial aid requirements, as well with career decisions and course selections. The detailed admissions process is intended to make sure students receive all that is necessary to make students success in the current, ever-changing commercial world.
The financial aid process is easy and only involves two steps: 1) speak with a Financial Aid Officer and 2) Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We also offer an on-line Net Price Calculator that offers estimates. Please note, the calculator only approximates. The true award varies and is based on certain factors such as regulatory changes, fund availability, time of year, etc. also, Mayfield College offers institutional loan options.Students at the Twenty-nine Palms campus, however, are not eligible for Federal student financial assistance.
Enrollment is simple and can be accomplished at any time. First, complete the Online Application and press submit. Mayfield College will then contact you for a Personal Interview to discuss your academic and career goals. Most applicants will then complete the Career Placement Assessment, which will help point out your capacity to be a success in our program. And, finally, if you qualify, you will complete a Financial Aid Application.
Federal Military, Veterans, and Family Members
For those who served on active duty, the Department of Veteran’s Affairs offers various bills and education benefits. Children and spouses of active service members may also be eligible for financial assistance from the Department of DefenseFor those currently serving in the military, the Department of Defense Tuition Assistance Program offers to fund. Those interested should find out whether they are entitled before registering.
Computer Technician (IT Computer & Networking Training)
The Bureau of Labor Statistics anticipates jobs for Computer Support Specialists to grow 17% from 2012 to 2022. Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (HVAC/R)
The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicted employment of heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration mechanics and installers would increase much faster than the average for all occupations and that job prospects for those who completed training from an accredited technical school were excellent.
Mayfield College’s accelerated Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning & Refrigeration program will have graduates working in less than one year.Training involves classroom lecture and hands-on training by experts in the HVAC/R industry, along with externships at local companies. Graduates can earn either a Certificate or an Associate’s degree in our HVAC program.
Are you interested in taking care of others? Medical Assisting might be for you. The Bureau of Labor Statistics expects that jobs for Medical Assistants will grow 29% from 2012-2022. And, Yahoo! Education places Medical Assistants on its list of the Top Five Healthcare Careers. The graduate of the Mayfield College’s Medical Assisting program essentially provides physician support and direct patient care in a wide array of medical settings. Training involves classroom instruction along with laboratory experience. The program offers hands-on training with up-to-date medical equipment, administrative and clinical class education, and on-the-job training through an externship program.
Health care careers are increasing as the population is aging. Graduates of Mayfield College’s Medical Assisting program can expect to secure employment as Clinical or Administrative Assistants, Medical Receptionists, Occupational Health Assistants, Laboratory Assistants, Medical Office Assistants, or Back Office Lab Aides.
Medical Billing & Coding (Front Office)
