Harrison College is a family owned institution with 13 different locations. Two of these locations house the Chef’s Academy Program: Morrisville, North Carolina and Indianapolis, Indiana. Additionally, it has an online program of study. In 1902, Charles Cring opened the first campus in Marion, Indiana.

 

The school has partnered with many companies in the health care field, logistics industry, manufacturing sector, computer training line, culinary arena, and many other fields. The school strives to educate its student and prepare them for real life experiences in a family-oriented and community based atmosphere.

 

Career Services

Harrison College has a request form for its students to use for career preparation needs. The Career Services department will assess the goals of the student, help with resume and cover letter writing, suggestion job opportunities, monitor job fairs, and run mock interviews. The school is proud of the fact that they stand behind the student during every step on the road to employment. This takes place from enrollment until the first day of the job.

 

Enrollment Process and Financial Aid

Harrison College uses a simple application process, and strives to make you eligible to start classes within a week of your enrollment. The form is at the school website. The process is a three-step platform:

 

- First, the prospective student will interview with an admissions representative
- Then the student will complete and submit the admissions forms
- The prospective student will then take a Navigate Assessment test, which has an English and math evaluation section.

Military Education Benefits

The schools offers a variety of college financial aid, and recommends you meet with one of their financial aid specialists in order to determine your needs. Additionally, Harrison College is proud to offer aid to the military. You could be actively involved, a veteran, or a member of the Guard or Reserves.
