University Accreditation
GCU has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission since 1968. The Postsecondary Education of the university has been accredited by the Arizona State Board. The Colangelo College of Business is credited by The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs bachelor’s degree programs and Master’s degree programs in the field of business and management. The College of Education is credited by the Arizona Department of Education as well as the Arizona State Board of Education for certificate programs in the field of pre-school training, elementary, secondary as well as special training for teachers and administrators. GCU's College of Nursing and Health Care Professions is approved by the Arizona State Board of Nursing. The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and the New Mexico Board of Nursing has approved GCU’s degree programs in the field of nursing. The Athletic Training Education Program has been approved by The Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) (http://caate.net). Intercollegiate Athletics program has been credited by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC) and the International Coalition for Addiction Studies Education (INCASE) have approved the degree course in addiction studies imparted by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. GCU also offers online courses in various disciplines and Christian studies, which are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
Financial Aid
