About Carrington College
Carrington College has 18 campuses spread across eight western states. It offers a range of health care programs. Students can choose between an associate degree and a certificate level course. The institute also provides some online courses for those who don’t get time for their education. Each student is given special attention and is provided with theoretical and hands-on training in their field of study.

This program covers physiology, anatomy, professionalism, body mechanics, and massage modalities and techniques. Various massage therapy techniques are included in this course, like Lymphatic facilitation massage, Neuromuscular and trigger point therapy, Swedish and sports massage, Shiatsu, Deep tissue massage, Pre-natal massage, Spa methods and practices, Reflexology, Chair massage, etc.
This medical program comprises of three sections - administrative, clinical and externship. After completing this course, students can sit for one or more national certification examinations like Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), etc.
This course teaches students to perform several lab procedures, including physiology and anatomy, microbiology, phlebotomy, urinalysis, and hematology.
This program builds the basic foundation of computers, mathematics, medical terminology, and sociology, while progressing into other aspects such as pathology and radiographic procedures.
This course prepares students to perform functions like starting intravenous drips, devising patient care plans, and dispensing certain medications.
This program prepares students to take the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) national examination.
In this course, students learn to execute several physical therapy services such as the hot and cold modality application and manual therapy delivery. The course also prepares students to sit for National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE), and PTA licensure exam.
This program teaches how to assist patients, document and record information, inspect equipment, materials and structures, monitor and review processes, etc.
This course develops teaches patient care and prepares students for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN).
This program enables students to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), apart from teaching them how to nurse patients.
This course allows students to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
In this program, applicants learn about various diagnostic procedures and therapeutic respiratory treatments, in order to cure respiratory problems like asthma, lung cancer, bronchitis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), etc. Besides this, it also prepares students for National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) examinations like the Clinical Simulation Examination (CSE), the Therapist Multiple Choice (TMC), etc.
This course teaches sterilization techniques to students, so as to minimize infections while passing instruments to surgeons.
This program teaches patient care and enables students to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN).
This course includes chair-side procedures, charting, administrative functions like scheduling, and patient communication.
This program covers dental cleaning procedures, X-rays, and patient communication. It also allows students to sit for the Dental Hygiene National Board examination.
In this course, students learn about state corrections, private and corporate security, county and federal corrections, investigation, and loss prevention.
This program, earlier called the Health Care Administration program, deals with the front office activities of a health care facility.
This administrative course includes maintenance of organized and accurate medical documentation involving patients’ records, with their medical history, X-ray, lab tests, symptoms, medications, and treatments.
This program teaches students about the coordination of daily operations in a medical office.
This course prepares students for lab, clinical, and administrative duties of a veterinary assistant.
In this program, students learn various tasks like executing health checkups on animals and treating their diseases.
