The Associate of Arts Degree in Information Technology provides the foundation and skills necessary for entry in the field of Information Technology. The attainment of an associate's degree meets the needs of adult students before they embark on a professional program or higher degree levels. The AA is also an important milestone for students' educational goals.An Associate of Arts Degree in Information Technology will enable students to demonstrate sound understanding of organizational principles, quality assurance, and leadership in internet technology positions.

To receive an Associate of Arts in Information Technology, students must complete at least 60 semester units to include a minimum of 30 units of General Education requirements, and 30 units of Information Technology courses. Occupational opportunities and advancement may require additional work experience and training.
