Since 1982 Arlington Career Institute have been training students in legal and healthcare related training programs. Using hands-on training ACI is there for you every step of the way throughout your training. They offer both day and evening classes because they realize that most students need to work while going back to school and life can sometimes get in the way of you pursuing your career goals.

Paralegal/Legal Assistant Training Program
Want to get started with your paralegal/legal assistant program? Learn from actual attorneys and real-world expertise that can be found at ACI. The program can be completed in 10 months and will prepare you for an entry-level position as a paralegal/legal assistant. Many graduates work at government agencies, corporate offices and attorney’s offices. As a paralegal or legal assistant you’ll work with lawyers to help them prepare for trials or hearings. You’ll take detailed notes, review trial transcripts as well as conduct research the lawyer’s needs. You could draft legal documents and even investigate facts surrounding a case the lawyer is working on. In the state of Texas in order to earn your certification you’ll need to take a certification exam issued by NALA, NFPA or TBLS.
Court Reporter Program
Join the exciting world of court reporting after the proper training from Arlington Career Institute.
You’ll learn how to use a stenography machines which will allow you to type words faster than a normal keyboard and some reporters can type at over 200 words per minute using a stenography machine. You can also learn how to become a stenomask reporter who talks into a hand-held recorder.
Administrative Assistant
Learn both office and business administration skills necessary for entry level office positions. At Arlington Career Institute they will train you so you have the experience necessary to apply for careers as a secretary, administrative assistant, data entry clerk. Many administrative assistants work in office settings including schools, medical offices, property management companies and even corporate retail.
Medical Assistant
Let the Arlington Career Institute train you as a medical assistant. The program offers both an administrative and clinical component to it giving you the best overall training needed to be successful. You’ll be taught how to provide support to both patient and doctor. It is recommended that after you graduate that you take the MA Certification Exam that is administered by the NAHP.
