At Arizona College you’ll receive hands-on classroom training. You’ll learn about all the equipment used in massage therapy. Instructors will give lectures in anatomy and physiology and you’ll also get courses in business and marketing so you’ll be able to promote your services after you graduate. Receiving your pre-licensure training from Arizona College is your first step. Once you graduate and complete all the necessary courses and hours you’ll receive a certification from the NCBTMB. You’ll apply for an Arizona Massage Therapy License through the Arizona State Board of Massage Therapy. The license is good for 2 years before the need for renewal.
