Abilene Christian University was established in 1906 and is one of the most pristine universities of its kind in the country. Being a private university, their student enrollment typically stays within the range of 4,600 students spanning from all around the country, and even all around the world! With these numbers in mind, it is fairly important to understand the first-hand experience that students receive is impeccable!

 

As a Christian centered college institution, the morals and standards of the environment are upheld to the highest capabilities. Students not only feel safe and secure to be themselves on campus, but they also have a wide range of options to study students to study and obtain degrees in at their discretion.

Admissions

When you apply to Abilene Christian University, you can do so online, and you can apply to be an undergraduate, graduate/doctoral, online programs, and dual credit.

 

Undergraduate

There are a ton of different undergraduate programs that you can apply to at Abilene Christian University. These classes are all taught in a Christian environment, and all of the class sizes are small to make learning easy and more one on one.

 

Graduate/Doctoral

Abilene Christian University has a few options that are traditional and non-traditional to help students get an advanced degree in their field. So students can do campus learning can and students that are already working and want to go back to school can get the program that is tailored to them.

 

Online Programs

As a graduate student, you have the option to take your program online. This option is great for students that have families or are in the workforce and can’t afford to take time off to go back to school.

 

Dual Credit

Some high school students want to get a jump on their education and they can do this by enrolling in some of the Abilene Christian University classes before they graduate high school and all of the credits completed will be transferred when they start college here.

 

Admission Process

After you have decided what program you want to apply to at Abilene Christian University, you can then apply by the freshman deadlines. And if you apply early, you can save yourself some money on the application fees.

 

Students that apply to Abilene Christian University before November 1st will have an application fee of only $35. The regular deadline for students to apply for fall classes is February 1st and the nonrefundable fee is $50.

 

Once you are admitted to the university, you have until May 1st to confirm that you will be attending classes in the fall, and this is also the date where you will make your enrollment deposit, and your Intent to Enroll form is due. But you can submit it anytime before this date to secure your spot at the school.

 

After you send in your application for admission, the next step is to send the school your official high school transcripts and/or your college transcripts. And you also have to request your SAT and ACT scores to be sent to the school and also your SAT and ACT writing scores. After you send in all of these items, you will then be considered to go to Abilene Christian University. Once you are granted admission, you will go through the online process to confirm admission, and then you can pay enrollment deposit and choose your housing preference and what meal plans you will be one once you start school.
